Aloka was born from a need

Aloka was born from the vision of María Aizpuru, our CEO, who, after years of immersion in various projects and her experience as a teacher, identified a basic need in the audiovisual field: the democratization of access to the necessary audiovisual equipment.

The platform emerged to break certain inertias and limitations that affect the audiovisual sector. We want to create a space based on collaboration and support between professionals and build a community together.

For this reason, we firmly believe that the rental of audiovisual equipment brings benefits to the entire community, it is a win-win solution for everyone involved. Aloka is here to create a bridge and ensure that all professionals in the sector have the opportunity to make the most of their potential.

With a PhD in communication with a specialty in collaborative methodologies, she has been working in the audiovisual sector for more than 15 years as a filmmaker and a professor. She has worked with a multitude of production companies in advertising and has developed her own projects, mainly documentaries.

She is passionate about telling stories and allowing people to tell theirs, enriching the cultural landscape.
